BELLVILLE: Passionate, KIM GOLDER lived her life to the fullest and had fun at the same time. When cooking, she doubled recipes, and was constantly working on some type of new collection. Regardless of her circumstances, Kim had fun. More importantly she loved her family and always placed their needs ahead of her own. On Sunday, September 29, 2013 Kimberly A. Golder passed away following a valiant three year battle with cancer. She was 52.

The daughter of Ralph E. Jones, Jr. and Sharron (Boyce) Thomas, Kim was born in Mansfield on January 1, 1961. After graduating from Girard High School in 1979, Kim earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration. Recently she worked for Bob Evans as hostess as well as Dollar General. Always interested in starting a new collection, Kim collected beanie babies, sea shells and movie memorabilia. Easy going she also enjoyed going to rock concerts. Kim read Stephen King novels and watching the SciFi and Food Network Channels. She also enjoyed oceanfront vacations to the Carolina's. An excellent cook, for Kim's recipes, the more butter the better. She made the best chicken pot pie, hot wings and homemade pizza. Her family knew that Kim's strawberry cake called for two cans of frosting instead of one. Described as a sweet person with a big heart, Kim loved and spoiled her family.

She is survived by her sons George and Johnathan Golder of Denver, Colorado; mother Sharron (Gilbert) Thomas of Bellville; the best step-mother Donna Jones of Galion; sisters Kelly (Phil) Ladigo of Georgia and Ronda (Marc) Beasley of Mansfield, brothers Bill Jones of Columbus and Rusty (Shelly) Jones of Ft. Myers, Florida; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph E. Jones, Jr., maternal grandparents Harold and Eileen Boyce, paternal grandparents Ralph E. Jones, Sr., Jeanette Jones and Marie Jones; uncle Ronald Boyce.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Pat Kracker Breast Cancer Fund may be made through the funeral home.
