She was a graduate of Britton High School, in Britton, OK, and married Harold Gordon Brown on 30 June 1934. Born to this union were 2 daughters and a son.
In 1945 they moved to Nicoma Park where Laura was a 60 year member of Nicoma Park First Baptist Church. She served in the medical field as an EKG technician.
