Daughter of John and Ellen (Mason) Kyar. Mrs. Bertha E. Stimpert of 1530 W. Mission Blvd. died Tuesday at Pomona Valley Community Hospital after a long illness.
Byrdee was born Jan. 26, 1919 in New Ulm, MN. to John and Ellen (Mason) Kyar. Byrdee married Charles E. Stimpert June 9, 1936 in Sleepy Eye, MN . Survivors include her husband, Charles; four sons, James (Rose) of Sleepy Eye, Minn., John (Ruth) of Apple Valley. Minn., Gregory (Jean) of New Ulm, and Terry (Carol) of Ontario; three daughters, Judith Holweger (Dennis) of Northwood, ND, Mrs. Betty Garland (John)of Moody, Tex., and Miss Phyllis Stimpert of Cheyenne, Wyo., two brothers, Earl (Helen) Kyar, Brainerd, MN, Cliff (Tillie) Brainerd, MN, four sisters, Vernie Miller, Mabel Miller, Alyce Kuelbs and Irene Kuelbs and 24 grandchildren.
Funeral was held at Todd Memorial Chapel in Pomona, CA and Byrdee’s ashes were spread at Dana Point, CA.
