Charles Edward Stimpert was born August 15, 1919 to Charles Theodore and Gesina (Woltzen) Stimpert in Ringstad, Iowa. Charles "Red" married Bertha Eda Kyar on June 9, 1936 in Sleepy Eye, MN. Seven children were born to this union: James Edward Stimpert, John Charles Stimpet, Gregory Paul Stimpert, Judith Eve Stimpert Holweger, Terry David Stimpert, Phyllis Kay Stimpert and Betty Ellen Stimpert Garland, all who survive; He is also survived by his brothers, Chester and Donald of Sleepy Eye, MN and a sister, Gladys Johnson (Arno) of Sleepy Eye, MN.
Predeceasing Red in death were his granddaughter, Melinda Stimpert in 1977, his parents, brothers Arnold and Raymond, Stimpert and two infant brothers,
Charles' ashes were spread in the pacific ocean by the ship Old Spice. God bless his memory.
