Son of George Washington & Ada (Avis) Rinck.

Military: Co. C Reg. 6 Missouri Calvary, volunteer . Joined 10 Feb 1862, Mustered out 18 Feb 1865

United in marriage with Nancy Ann Finley on March 15, 1865 by a J.P. in Wright County, Missouri, with it being registered at county court house in Hartville, per his Civil War pension records.

They moved around in Missouri for a while after marriage, with settling down in Norwood, Wright, Missouri by 1880. Parents of 12 known children, with 6 being in Thomas Cemetery, Norwood, Wright, Missouri, with their mother joining them in 1925.

By 1910 he and Nancy were in Los Angeles, with their daughter Burtie Estella "Stella", her husband Frank Blaine Ball and their two daughters living with them.

1920 in Los Angeles, California, just the two of them in the household, with him going into a Veterans home sometime after that census. Nancy returned to Norwood after his passing.
