Olivia Ladson Mills, age 17, of Fosters, died September 29, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Sipsey Valley High School. Private graveside services will be held with Dr. John Kearns, Chris Greene, and Jonathan Venable officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing.

She was preceded in death by Rufus Ladson Mills, Jr.

Survivors include her parents, Tim and Lisa Mills; sisters, Leah Kathryn Mills Venable, Whitney Mills Petrey, and Meredith Mills Gray; brothers-in-law, Jonathan Venable, Brad Petrey, and Matt Gray; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Winters, and Mrs. Ardith Mills and the late "Buck" Mills.

Olivia Ladson Mills, a senior at Sipsey Valley High School, died of a tragic car accident at the age of 17. She had a gentle spirit and wisdom beyond her years. She touched many lives while she was with us and continues to after her passing. Her life goal was to be a missionary and fulfilled her calling. The family challenges you to live like Olivia lived.
