Obituary of Robert Allen Johnson
FOUND DEAD IN CHAIR.
Navesink Man Dies Suddenly from Valvular Heart Diseases.
Robert Allen Johnson of Navesink died suddenly while sitting in a chair yesterday morning. He had been in good health and had got up early. His wife arose a short time afterward and found him in the chair dead. Coroner Harry C. Fay was notified and he gave a burial permit. Mr. Johnson was 76 years old. He was the son of Adelia and Thomas Johnson. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. William A. Sweeney of Red Bank and Mrs. Harry Hart of Atlantic Highlands. A nephew, Raymond L. Taylor, lived with Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Grand Army and attended the Gettysburg reunion last year. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at the house and the burial will be at Fair View cemetery.
