She was born on September 26, 1929 in Dawson, Nebraska the daughter of David Everett and Odessa Louise (Parker) Magers.
JoEtta worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician at Batson's Drug Store in Howard.
She was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church.
From paintings to crocheting JoEtta enjoyed doing arts and crafts.
She is survived by two daughters; Sharle Watkins of Howard, Kansas and Pamela Fickle of Towanda, Kansas, stepchildren; Renee Conyers, Kim Davis, Robert Conyers, Scott Conyers and Charlotte McElroy, one sister Maxine Misselwitz of Mercer Island, Washington, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Helen Conyers and step-son David Conyers.
