Perry Damon "Red" Ledford, 76, of Corbin, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2006 in Lexington.
He was born April 8, 1929 in Corbin, and was preceded in death by is parents William Perry and Lillian Hackworth Ledford, and two brothers, Raymond and Doyle Ledford.
P.D. was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and worked as an L&N railroad conductor and over-the-road truck driver.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at O'Neil Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Storms officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #88.
