J. H. "Bud" Edwards, age 77 of Alvin, passed away on January 22, 2010 in Houston. J H was born on February 2, 1932 in Tahoka. He grew up in Spring Branch but was a longtime resident of Alvin and Pearland.
J. H. was a charter member of Wings over Houston. He also was a volunteer as a house father to a boys group home in Alvin.
J. H. was preceded in death by his parents Kathryn and Harold Edwards as well as his former wife, Maudie Lou Edwards.
He is survived by his children; Linda Edwards of Alvin, Lane Edwards and wife, Ellie of Humble; Laura Grimes of Pearland; one sister, Janice Moore of Canyon Lake; grandchildren; Kathryn Grimes; Christopher Edwards and Abigail Edwards; and his friends at Alvin Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service was held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Froberg Funeral Home. Arrangements by Froberg Funeral Home. THE END
