Mrs. Wheeler was born on July 17, 1919, in Boaz, where she grew up. On Oct. 27, 1939, she moved to Gadsden after her marriage to Everett Clyde Wheeler, who passed away in 1994. They were married for 53 years and have now been joined together again for eternity.
She was a member of Christ Central Church and the Rainbow City Seniors Club, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Paula Wheeler, Piedmont; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Steve Narrie, Snellville, Ga., and Susan and Robert Holt, Madison; grandchildren, Andrew Wheeler and Ashley Parker, both of Birmingham, Leanne Narrie, Savannah, Ga., Lindsay Narrie, Athens, Ga., Lyle Holt, Birmingham, and Kathryn Holt, Madison; niece, Martha Burdette and her husband, Lin, Pass Christian, Miss.; special friend, Jessie Shinn, Gadsden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
