From the Jan 11 1919 Harrisburg Patriot: Funeral services for Josephine Bowers, 37 years old, who died Monday night at Westminster, Md., after a short illness were held yesterday at 2 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs Joseph Bowers, 641 Hamilton street, with the Rev E A Pyles officiating. Burial was in the East Harrisburg Cemetery."
