Howard M. Speidel, 50, of 715 E. Webster St., Traverse City, Mich., a former Manitowoc resident, died Saturday at Streator, Ill.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Simon Catholic Church at Ludington. Graveside services and burial will be Saturday morning at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc, with the Rev. John Hephner officiating.
Mr. Speidel was born March 15, 1924, at Ludington. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Cora W. Douglas who preceded him in death in 1950.
Survivors include four sons, Doughlas, of Appleton, Vinton, of Madison and Bryan and Howard, of Manitowoc and a daughter, Miss JoAnn Speidel, of Manitowoc. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of local funeral arrangements.
