Nora S. Ackerman, 93, of Meyersdale died Aug. 17, 1993, at Meyersdale
Manor. She was born Nov. 13, 1899, in Northampton Township, a daughter of
John and Elizabeth (Hartge) Hittie. She was preceded in death by parents;
husband, William; sons: Glen, Ray and Clarence; stepdaughters: Nettie and
Annie, and three brothers. She is survived by a sister, Marie Summy, of
Mount Plesant; two granddaughters, three step-granddaughters and one
step-grandson. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church
and the Hillside Grange. Family recieved friends Wednesday at the Deaner
Funeral Home, Berlin, where service was held Thursday, Rev. James Fish
officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
