GLENN R. ACKERMAN

Glenn Robert Ackerman, 52, Meyersdale RD 4, died March 12 in Meyersdale
Comminity Hospital. He was born July 14, 1924 in Northampton Township, the
son of William and Nora (Hittie) Ackerman and was preceded in death by his
father, a son, Glenn E., and a brother Ray. He is survived by his wife, the
former Lucy A. Wambaugh Hartman; by his mother, Mrs. Nora Ackerman; Paula D.
Emerick of Berlin and June C., at home; step children; Richard, St. Louis,
Mo., Mrs. Darly (Patricia) Epergesi, Berlin; Dale of Glencoe; a grandson,
Kevin and six step grandchildren. He was a brother of Clarence E. Leister
of Mount Plesant. He was a member of the New Hope United Church of Christ,
where he was a church trustee and a member of the church cemetery
association. Friends were received in the Johnson and Son Funeral Home,
Berlin, where services were held Wednesday with the Rev. William C. Moser
officiating. Interment, Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
