Lucy A. Meyers, 80, Berlin, died April 5, 2009, at Somerset Hospital. Born July 23, 1928 in Kegg, a daughter of John and Mary (Imgrund) Wambaugh. Preceded in death by her parents; husbands Lewis Hartman, Glenn Ackerman, and David L. Meyers; great-grandchildren: Jordan, McKenna and Ryan Turner, and Mary and Michelle Hartman; brothers Fred and George Wambaugh; and sisters Florence Hankinson, Kathleen Hill, and Alice Brenninger. Survived by her children: Richard Hartman married to the former Paula Owens, Frisco, Texas; Patricia married to Daryl Eperjesi, Connellsville; and Dale Hartman married to the former Dorothy Benning, Fairhope; stepchildren: Jack W. Meyers and wife Joyce, Berlin; James F. Meyers and wife Kay, Warren, Ohio; Judy A. Suder and husband Robert, Berea, Kentucky; and Janeen Bardenhagen and husband James, Sutton Bay, Mich. 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Lohr, Bedford. She was a graduate of the former Shellsburg High School. She was a former cafeteria worker for Berlin Brothersvalley High School for 30 years. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin and Somerset O.E.S. Chapter 138. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Frank Demmy and Pastor John Klink officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Glencoe.
