A brief mention was made of the death of Alois Rank in "the Sunday edition".
The deceased was born 04 June 1845 in Friedrichsthal, Bohemia, and came to America in 1866.
He is survived by his widow and 3 children. Burial was last Mon.
morning.

Alois Rank of this city died on Friday of last week of hemorrhage of the stomach.
He was 49 years old and leaves a wife and two children.

Legacy from abroad-A legacy of 133 Krommers, equivalent to $26.46 United States money, has been received at Probate court from Vienna Austria, for the estate of Alois Rank, deceased. The money is a portion of the estate of Franz Rank, a brother of the Manitowoc county man, who has but recently died.

Order to hear Petition for Administration

STATE OF WISCONSIN.
IN PROBATE-MANITOWOC COUNT COURT.
In the matter of the estate of Alois Rank, deceased, intestate.

On reading and filing the petition of Anna Rank of the city of Manitowoc, in said county, representing among other things that Alois Rank an inhabitant of said county on the 9th day of March A.D. 1895, at the city of Manitowoc, in said county, died intestate, leaving estate to be administered, and that said petitioner is the widow of said deceased, and praying that administration of said estate be to Anna Rank granted:
It is ordered that said petition be heard at a special term of said county court, to be held on Tuesday, the 16th day of April, A.D., 1895, at 10 o'clock a.m., at the office of the county judge in the city of Manitowoc, in said county.
Ordered further, that notice of the time and place so appointed be given to all persons interested, by publication hereof for three weeks successively, prior to said day of hearing, in the Nordwesten, a weekly newspaper published in Manitowoc in said county.
Dated at Manitowoc, the 18th day of March, A.D., 1895.
