Death Saturday afternoon here, after an illness of several years, of well-known blacksmith Andreas Rank.
The deceased, who was 56, came to Manitowoc from Austria 25 years ago and has lived here ever since.
He is survived by 4 children as well as a sister still living in Austria.
The funeral was held Tuesday.

Andrew Rank, an old resident of the city, died Saturday afternoon at his home on South 11th street after an illness of almost two years duration.

Deceased who was 56 years of age came here from Austria about 25 years ago and has since resided in this city.

He is survived by one sister in Austria and four children, Mrs. Harry Mendlik of Milwaukee, Dr. A. F. and Miss Mae of this city and Anna who is attending the Milwaukee Normal school.

The funeral was held Tuesday morning, interment being at Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Rank was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and of the St. Boniface society.
