Mrs. Catherine Rank, 88, of 907 Wilson St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
Private family funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. James R. DeWitt will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ran, nee Catherine Cary, was born March 25, 1887, at Sheboygan Falls, daughter of the late Calvin and Nellie Kennedy Cary. She attended Sacred Heart Parochial School, Manitowoc. She was married to Dr. Alex F. Rank July 18, 1912, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Jan. 21, 1960. Prior to her retirement 18 years ago she was employed by the City of Manitowoc as relief director for many years. She was a member of numerous service and church organizations.
Survivors include two sons, William, of Madison and Robert, of Warsaw, Ind., a daughter, Mrs. J. F. (Mary Ellen) Donahue, of Nashville, Tenn., and a sister, Mrs. Alice Bell, of Manitowoc and three grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Wisconsin Heart Assn. or American Cancer Society.
