Mr. Frank L. Rank, 87, formerly of 728 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, July 7, 1986 at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 8 pm Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer and burial will be Thursday in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Rank was born Feb. 2, 1899 in the town of Cato, Manitowoc County, son of the late Joseph and Theresa Pankratz Rank. He married Sophia Marx, June 6, 1922 at Phlox, Wis. Mr. Rank was employed as a Carpenter by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company, retiring in 1954.
Survivors include his wife; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Ben Rank of Pinellas Park, Fla., Jerome Rank of Manitowoc, Francis and Mary Rank of Two Rivers and David and Darlene Rank of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Florence and Louis Jansky of Tisch Mills formerly of West Allis; a sister-in-law, Regina Rank of Manitowoc; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Germaine, five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at St. Paul Church, 5 pm Wednesday until the time of services. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
