Mrs. Walter Raven, 68, of 1519 N. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at home of a heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. E. A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Raven, nee Marie Yeoman, was born March 19, 1897, at Avon, Ill., daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret Clark Yeoman. She attended school at Avon and moved with her family when 21 years of age to Barron, Wis. She was employed at the Barron Telephone Co. four years before she was married to Walter Raven May 3, 1923, at Detroit, Mich. The couple lived at Detroit until coming to Manitowoc in 1926. She was past president of the auxiliary to Carpenters Local 849 and a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary and St. Paul Catholic Church CMA Society.
Surviving are the husband, two sons, Thomas, of Kenosha and Gerald, of Muscatine, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Jeanne) Rank, of Green Bay and Mrs. James (Marguerite) O’Hearn, of Milwaukee; a brother, Sylvester, of Greeley, Col.; three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Callahan, of Jefferson, Wis., Mr. Robert Gahan, of Palatine, Ill., and Mrs. Joseph Logan, of Manitowoc and 15 grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. by the family, members of the parish and the Mystical Rose Circle, Daughters of Isabella.
