CITY CLERK TAKES A BRIDE
Arthur Reichert Weds Miss Elizabeth Seidl, of This City
WEDDING IS SECRET FOR TWO DAYS; A SURPRISE

Guarding his secret successfully for nearly two days, City Clerk Arthur Reichert today admitted truth of rumors that he was married and details of the event became public.

Mr. Reichert and Miss Elizabeth Seidl, the bride, a well known Southside lady, were married at St. Boniface church parsonage late Saturday afternoon, Rev. Peil officiating and the fact that the bridal pair spent Sunday out of town, aided them in evading friends who did not learn of the marriage until their return.

Announcement of the wedding is a complete surprise, friends having had no intimation of the event which was at his desk in city hall all day Saturday and when he appeared again this morning, all suspicion was allayed and but for the record of the marriage in St. Boniface church and in the probate office, the secret could have been maintained indefinitely. The ceremony Saturday was a quiet one, attended by only Victor and Miss Marie Trestik,, who were attendants to the couple. After the ceremony, the couple passed the evening with the bride's parents and Sunday visited Two Creeks.

Mr. Reichert is one of the best known men of the city and a city official justly popular through long and satisfactory service. His bride is a daughter of Michael Seidl and a young lady who has a wide circle of friends who will wish her happiness.

Mr. and Mrs. Reichert will take up their home on Hancock Street.
