John F. Reimer, 68, of 2905 Meadow Lane, died Sunday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Reimer was born June 3, 1885, at Whitelaw and moved at a young age to Manitowoc with his parents. For the past 38 years he had been employed at the Invincible Metal Furniture Company, Manitowoc, as an experimental worker and designer. His hobby was mineralogy.

On July 21, 1908, he married the former Anna DuFresne who survives in addition to a daughter, Miss Blance, and a son, Jerome, at home, three brothers, Louis, Peter and Paul of Manitowoc and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday and the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
