Cecelia L. O'Neil, age 87, of 3003 Gass Lake Road, Manitowoc, entered eternal life Monday afternoon, November 5, 2012 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Cecelia was born October 6, 1925 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Caroline VanderBloomen Marzahl. Cecelia was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School in Menasha. She was employed as the administrative secretary and office manager at Holiday House in Manitowoc from 1966 to 1990. On September 29, 1956 she married William J. O'Neil, Jr. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1997. Cecelia was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son: Shawn W. O'Neil, Manitowoc, WI; one daughter: Mary O'Neil, Oshkosh, WI; sister-in-law: Annie Hoffman, Saukville, WI; brother-in-law: Leo Templeton, Manitowoc, WI; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Caroline Marzahl; husband: William O'Neil Jr; brother-in-law: Leonard Hoffman; sister-in-law: Audrey Templeton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Michael and Dorothy O'Neil; nephew: Mark Hoffman.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Marshall. The Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Rev. William Van Dynhoven and Rev. Jeremiah Cullinane with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Following the graveside services there will be a luncheon at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. lead by Deacon Alan Boeldt. The visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
