Eric R. Reinicke, age 40, of 2019 Sherman Avenue, Madison, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Francis Kerscher. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Eric was born Feb. 11, 1962 in Manitowoc. He was the son of Geraldine Backus Reinicke and the late Robert H. Reinicke. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1981. He then continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1986. For the past six years, Eric was employed with United Parcel Service in Madison. Eric was a member of the Capitol City "N"gineers Model Railroad Club, a hobby that he greatly enjoyed for many years.

Survivors include his mother: Geraldine (Geri) Reinicke, Manitowoc; brothers and sisters: Stephen (Cindy) Birringer of Carefree, Ariz., Patricia (Samuel) Fujikawa of Honolulu, Hawaii, Joan (Stephen) Haig of Rockville Center, NY, Robert (Patti) Reinicke of San Clemente, Calif., Diane Reinicke of Oshkosh, Dr. Mark Reinicke of Colorado Springs, Colo., Charles Reinicke of West Allis; along with other relatives and friends surviving. He was preceded in death by his father Robert H. Reinicke on Aug. 19, 1997 and his brother Peter Reinicke on Feb 18, 1998.

Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday (TODAY) with a prayer service being held at 7:30 p.m. lead by Deacon Paul Kieffer.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
