Hugh Rice, 82, died early today at his home at 921 South 15th street.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic church. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate with burial in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Rice was born in 1868 in the town of Manitowoc Rapids and worked on farms for many years. He came to Manitowoc eight years ago.
Only survivor is a brother, Charles of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday and the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
