Mrs. Harry E. Rieck, 55, of 1810 S. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died at 3:02 p.m. Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient since Oct. 14.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. D. L. Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Rieck, the former Anna Dorothy Kopidlansky, was born Dec. 12, 1910, in the Town of Franklin, daughter of Joseph and Anna Stasiak Kopidlansky Sr. She attended St. Patrick Parochial School, Maple Grove, and was graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, in 1926 and from Manitowoc County Normal School. She taught at Fountain Park School, Town of Schleswig, six years and also at Greenstreet School. She was married to Harry E. Rieck at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville, Dec. 28, 1933, and the couple established residence at Manitowoc. Mrs. Rieck was a member of Maryknoll Missionary Society and St. Theresa Society of St. Andrew Church.
Surviving are her husband, a son, William C., of Cedarburg; three daughters, Sister Mara Gabriel of Kyoto, Japan, and Mrs. Ralph Christnot and Miss Cynthia Rieck of Manitowoc; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kopidlansky of Manitowoc; three brothers, Joseph Jr., Louis and Leonard of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence Cohen of Green Bay, Mrs. John Leiterman of Antigo, Mrs. Louis Cornick of Valders and Mrs. Carl Reitmeyer of Manitowoc and seven grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. by members of St. Theresa Society and the parish.
