Mrs. Mary Riederer, 82, of 1208 South Tenth St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeifer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Mary Franz in Germany in 1872 and accompanied her parents to Manitowoc at an early age. She was married to John Riederer in 1897. Her husband died in 1906.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Shoulak of Manitowoc; two sons, Paul and Joseph of Manitowoc; two brothers, Clement and August Franz of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Schipper and Mrs. Josephine Smazel of Manitowoc; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after Friday noon, where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
