Paul J. Riederer, 64. of 1208 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died at 2:10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient 12 days.

Funeral services will be at 9.30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Riederer was born May 12, 1897 at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Mary Franz Riederer. He attended St. Boniface Catholic School and resided at Manitowoc all his life. He was unmarried. Mr. Riederer was a veteran of World War I, serving as a private with the U. S. Army Medical Corps in France, at Base Hospital 30. He served from Aug. 26, 1918, until May 14, 1919. He was employed for many years at Rahr Malting Co. and later at Muchin's until he retired four years ago.

Survivors include a brother Joseph F . and a sister. Mrs. Harvey Shoulak, of Manitowoc, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
