Mrs. Rosa Riederer, 91, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 12, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Riederer, nee Rosa Denor, was born July 16, 1891, in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Peter and Katherine Lensmier Denor. She was married to Joseph Riederer June 3, 1913, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1970. She was a member of St. Ann Christian mothers Altar Society of St. Boniface Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Caroline Riederer of Racine and Harold and Laree Riederer and Robert Rebenack of New Orleans, La., and Miss Margaret Riederer of Milwaukee; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Leo Riederer of Fond du Lac, 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two sons, John and Leo, five brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. by St. Ann Christian Mothers Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, relatives and friends.
