Mrs. Laree M. Riederer, 57, of 1701 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, March 30, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Jeff VandenHeuvel will officiate at the funeral services and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Riederer, nee Laree Margaret Sievert, was born June 8, 1929 at Two Rivers, Wisconsin, daughter of Catherine Wichlacz Sievert and the late John Sievert. She was a graduate of Washington High School of Two Rivers with the Class of 1946. She was married to Harold G. Riederer, May 24, 1952 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mrs. Riederer was a member of Amvets Auxiliary Post 99 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Riederer, Dennis and Kathy Riederer, all of Manitowoc and James Riederer of Minneapolis, Minnesota; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Jeffery Krell of Manitowoc; her mother, Mrs. Catherine Sievert of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Radandt of Manitowoc and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jamie and Rebecca. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anne and Frances.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday, where a prayer service will be 8:30 pm by Deacon Ken Nelesen.
