(1905 - 1979)

Jacob Ristenpadt, 70, of 919 Sixth St., Kiel, died Sunday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital, after a short illness.

He was born Jan. 24, 1909, in Manitowoc, a son of Hugo and Mary Leibl Ristenpadt. During World War II he was employed in a powder plant at Baraboo and later at Lakeside Packing at Sheboygan. For the past three years he made his home with a niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. George Michels at Kiel.

The only survivors are nieces and nephews. Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

The Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, will celebrate the funeral Mass 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, preceded by family rites at 9: 30 a.m. at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday where service of the wake will be held at 8 p.m.
