JOS. ROEMER PASSES AWAY AGED 47 YEARS


Joseph Roemer, 47, died at his home, 823 Marshal street at 11:30 last night and will be buried Tuesday morning, services being held at St. Boniface church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be at Calvary.


Mr. Roemer had been ailing for four years but his condition did not become alarming until recently. He was born at St. Nazianz May 14, 1877 and up to seventeen years ago resided at Mishicot, removing here at that time. He had been employed at the plant of the Aluminum Goods Co. in the spinning department.


Besides his wife, who was Ann Dworak and whom he married Nov. 26, 1907, Mrs. Roemer is survived by one daughter Katherine and by two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Klann of Clarks Mills and Miss Clara Roemer, of this city.


Deceased was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.

The funeral of Joseph roemer was held Tuesday morning from St. Boniface church, Manitowoc with interment at Calvary cemetery.


Mr. roemer was the son of the late John Roemer, early resident of Mishicot and proprietor of the Badger State House. He was 47 years of age and was born at St. Nazianz. He was married to Miss Anna Dvorak, who with two daughters survive him. The daughters are Catherine, at home and Mrs. William Klann of Mishicot. He is also survived by one sister, Miss Clara Roemer of Manitowoc.


Deceased was a resident of Manitowoc for the past sixteen years. He passed away at his home in that city Thursday night after being in ill health for the past four years. Previous to his illness he was employed by the Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co.
