Frances M. Rowe, age 80, of 929 S. 31st St., Manitowoc died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003 at Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Sister Michael Majeskie with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Frances was born Aug. 6, 1923 in Canton, Wis., daughter of the late Frank and Melvina Gordon LaPean. In 1946, she married George Rowe Sr. in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1981. Frances was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Women's Auxiliary and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law: George Jr. and Cecelia Rowe, Antioch, Ill.; William Rowe, Monroe, Wis.; two grandchildren: Edward (Kerry) Rowe, Lake Villa, Ill.; Lenae (Robert) Ambrose, Monroe; five great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Grace and Robert Blymire, Sheboygan; Ruth and Lloyd Gosz, Harold Radandt, all of Manitowoc; one brother: Frank LaPean, Manitowoc; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frances was also preceded in death by one sister: Mary Radandt; and one daughter-in-law: Lucinda Rowe.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
