ODELIA RUGOWSKI
(1885 - 1965)

Mrs. Joseph Rugowski, 80, of 508 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient the past month.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 9 a.m. at the St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Very Rev. Clement P. Kern officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Rugowski, the former Odelia Knechtel, was born May 5, 1885 in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Theodore and Eva Pitsch Knechtel. She was married to Daniel C. Walsh April 23, 1913. He preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1920. She then worked as a saleslady at Schuette Bros. Co. from 1920 to 1928. She was married to Joseph Rugowski Feb. 21, 1928, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Rugowski preceded her in death Oct. 10, 1963. Mrs. Rugowski was a member of St. Paul Christian Mothers Altar Society and the Homemakers Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fred Schmitz of Manitowoc; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mildred Piszczek of Ludington, Mich.; two step sons, Donald Rugowski of Ludington, and Earl Rugowski of Bakersfield, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Belinske of Manitowoc; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday by the Christian Mothers Society and the Daughters of Isabella.

Miss Odella Donorsky and Daniel Walsh are United

A quiet wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Knechtel last evening united Miss Odella Donorsky and Daniel Walsh, South side young people and the couple immediately after the ceremony departed on the car ferry for Michigan and will make a wedding trip in the east. Justice A.E. Schulze officiated at the ceremony which was attended by only immediate relatives. The bride has been employed as stenographer and bookkeeper for the Schnorr Bros. Box Co., and Mr. Walsh is employed at the Addison House. They will return here in two weeks to make their home.
