Mr. Clarence J. Ruzek, 78, of 1418 S. 31st St. Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, May 13, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Prusakowski, O.F.M. will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Ruzek was born July 27, 1906, at Watertown, Wis., son of the late John and Elizabeth Hrobsky Ruzek. He moved to Manitowoc with his family at the age of 10. He was married to Mildred A. Greicar Sept. 9, 1937, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. After marriage the couple made their home in Manitowoc. Mr. Ruzek was employed at the Manitowoc Company, retiring in 1969 and was a member of Boilermakers Local 443. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 710, Manitowoc Senior Citizens, Manitowoc Fish and Game Association, 30 year member of Isaac alton League and a 25 year member of Eagles Aerie 706.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Gladys Ruzek of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Al Rezba of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wenzel and Gilbert Ruzek and three sisters, Blanche Wetenkamp, Flavia Wetenkamp and Emily Wolfram.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Tuesday evening, where a prayer service will be 7 o’clock this evening by family, friends and Knights of Columbus.
