DEATH COMES AS MESSENGER OF RELEASE

Death came to the relief of Mrs. John Ryan at the hospital early today and she passed to peaceful rest after months of suffering. Mrs. Ryan had undergone two operations the past two weeks and her weakened condition made it impossible for her to win the battle of life.

Decedent was a native of Maple Grove, born July 6, 1869 and was married to John Ryan November 28, 1889 and made her home in the city since that time.

She was the mother of eight children, five of whom survive, being George of Racine, Mrs. A.M Grant of Waterbury, Conn., Earl, Loretta and Helen of this city. An aged mother, Mrs. Mary Haggerty this city, one brother Thomas of Delavan and four sisters, Mrs. George Meyer of Wayauwega, Mrs. Frank Ticknor of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Nic Kuhl and Mrs. Hans Hansen of this city also survive.

The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart church Monday morning.

Those from out of town who were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. John Ryan which took place yesterday morning at Calvary were George Ryan and wife of Racine, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ticknor of Grand Rapids, Wis., Thomas Haggerty principal of a school at Delevan, Mrs. George Meyers and daughter of Weyauwega and M. Haggerty of Miles City, Montana.

Mr. and Mrs. George T. Ryan, who were here to attend the funeral of Mr. Ryan's mother, returned to their home at Racine yesterday. Mr. Ryan has made his home in Racine for the past eight years and holds a responsible position in the Merchants & Manufacturers Bank.

Mrs. Frank Ticknor of Grand Rapids arrived here Monday evening for a visit with relatives. She came to attend her sister's funeral, the late Mrs. John Ryan, but owing to illness, arrived too late. She will remain for a fortnight.

Mrs. John Ryan died at the hospital Friday morning following a second operation for gallstones.

The deceased was 49 years old last July. She was a native of Maple Grove and was married to John Ryan Nov. 28, 1889 and made her home in this city ever since.

She was the mother of eight children, five of whom survive, being George of Racine, Mrs. A. M. Grant of Waterburg, Conn., Earl, Loretta and Helen of this city. An aged mother Mrs. Mary Haggerty, this city; one brother, Thomas of Delavan and four sisters, Mrs. George Meyer of Weyauwega, Mrs. Frank Tickhor of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Nic Kuhl and Mrs. Hans Hansen of this city also survive.

The funeral was held from Sacred Heart Church Monday morning. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

Those from out of town who were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. John Ryan which took place Monday morning at Calvary were George Ryan and wife of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ticknor of Grand Rapids, Wis., Thomas Haggerty, principal of a school at Delavan, Mrs. George Meyers and daughter of Weyauwega and Mr. Haggerty of Miles City, Montana.

In Re Estate of Helen Ryan. Deceased.
Notice Is Hereby Given. That at the Special term of said Court to be held on the 2nd Tuesday (being the 8th day) of April, A.D. 1919, at the Court House in the City of Manitowoc, County of Manitowoc and State of Wisconsin, there will be heard and considered the Application of John Ryan for the appointment of an administrator of the estate of Helen Ryan, late of the city of Manitowoc, in said County, deceased:
Notice Is Hereby Further Given, That at the Special Term of said Court to be held at said Court House, on the 3rd Tuesday (being the 17th day) of July, A.D. 1919, there will be heard, considered and adjusted, all claims against said Helen Ryan, deceased:
And Notice Is Hereby Further Given, That all such claims for examination and allowance must be presented to said County Court at the Court House, in the City of Manitowoc, in said County and State, on or before the 12th day of March, A.D. 1919, or be barred.
