Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Dinosaur on Monday, September 12 at 2:30 PM for Earl Clarence Shaw, 52, of Dinosaur. Reverend Counts of the First Baptist Church of Rangley officiated.
Pallbearers were Hugh Murray, Vic Davis, Ivan Karren, George Sults, Harvey Burch, and Will Wilson. Interment was in the Dinosaur Cemetery with Briggs Mortuary of Meeker in charge of arrangements.
Earl Clarence Shaw was born in Kansas on October 5, 1913. He had been a miner at the Bonanza, Utah Gilsonite plant at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Leta, and three children, Carol Ann, Oliver Earl, and Paul Dean, all of Dinosaur.
