Mrs. Carrie M. Firebaugh, wife of L. T. Firebaugh, died at her home in this city Tuesday of this week, aged nineteen years. Her death was caused by convulsions resulting from childbirth. The child is living.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Wm. Woolley and under the auspices of the local Home Forum, of which the dead woman had been a member. The remains were interred in Bushnell cemetery.
Mrs. Firebaugh’s maiden name was Jeffries. She was born in the west part of Fulton county, near New Philadelphia. When she was five years of age her mother died and she was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Adam Zirkle, with whom she lived as a daughter until her marriage with Mr. Firebaugh, June 24, 1896. She was a pleasant and attractive woman, and her many friends join in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
