"Oakland, Aug. 8. -- With solemn Masonic rites and special ceremonies, Solomon Kahn, senior member of the firm of Kahn Brothers, prominent as a member of both civic and fraternal organizations of the community, and for years devoted to the progressive interests of Oakland, was laid to his final rest this afternoon in Mountain View cemetery...
