PRINCETON – Jewel Ann Goins Crabtree, 42, of Route 1, Box 343, Princeton, died Thursday, August 14, 1997, in a Bluefield hospital.
Born April 17, 1955 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of Arthur M. Goins, Jr. of Bramwell and the late Dorothy ‘Dottie' Haynes Goins.
She was a gradutate of Bramwell High School and attended Marshall University where she earned a business degree. She lived in Princeton for the past 16 years and worked as an insurance underwriter for the Acordia Insurance Company of West Virginia (formerly known as Flat Top Insurance Company).
She was a member of the Voice of Praise Worship Center in Bluewell.
Survivors: husband, Charlie Crabtree of the home; daughter, Melanie Crabtree of the home; brother, William Allen Goins of Kannapolis, N.C.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Craven-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Rich Womack officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
