Mrs. Mary Betka, 79, of 1321 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning at the home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Mary Fenski was born Dec. 8, 1877, in Poland, daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Bruski Fenski. She came to the United States as a child with her parents and came to Manitowoc where in 1896 she was married to Stanley Betka. He died in 1936. Mrs. Betka was a member of the Rosary Society of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Victor Wleczyk and Mrs. Cecelia Sepnieski of Manitowoc. A son, Alex, died last year.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock this Monday evening.
