Mrs. Alex Betka, 51, of 1314 S. 20th St. Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening at Holy Family Hospital following a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.

Mrs. Betka, nee Tillie Daron, was born in Newton in 1900 on the homestead farm and moved to Manitowoc in 1918. In 1922 she was married to Alex Betka.

Survivors are the husband; daughter, Mrs. James Zilk at home; son, Leonard, at home; mother, Mrs. Andrew Daron of Manitowoc; two brothers, Edward of Newton and Matt of Manitowoc; five sisters, Mrs. Alois Mrozinski, Mrs. Stanley Becker, Mrs. Frank Dembski, and Mrs. Anton Gruber of Manitowoc, and Miss Cecelia at home; one grandchild.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Friday and the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
