MARTIN BONK, RESIDENT 50 YEARS, DEAD
Martin Bonk, resident of the city for almost a half century, died at the family home at 1118 South Twenty-second street late last night, the demise being due to infirmities incident to old age. The funeral will be held from the home Wednesday morning with services at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. S. J. Kubiszewski officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's cemetery.
Born in Germany seventy-seven years ago, Martin Bonk came to this city forty-eight years ago and has always since made his home here. He was married to Pauline Bonk, the widow who with ten children survives him, forty-three years ago (sic). The children are Mrs. Anna Mrotek, Mrs. Rose Sominski, Mrs. Helen Chernicki and Mrs. Sophia Butz; John, Walter, Frank, Louis, Charles and Joseph. Thirteen grandchildren also survive him.
