William Michael Myatt, 68, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, in Granbury. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Interment: 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth, followed by a lunch and reception at the home of Cynthia and Mark Jackson in Granbury. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Mr. Myatt was born Aug. 11, 1945, in Fort Worth to Edward Layland Myatt and Martha Harriet Smith Myatt. He married Sharon Elizabeth Carter on Nov. 16, 1963; she preceded him in death July 16, 2004. Michael worked in the elevator construction industry for 37 years. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and was a good family man. He enjoyed videography, carpentry and his grandkids. Also preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Gary Max Myatt. Survivors: Daughter, Cynthia Lynn Jackson and husband, Mark; son, William Michael Myatt Jr.; grandchildren, Austin, Andrew, Addison and Aedan Jackson; brother, Edward Layland Myatt Jr. and wife, Susan; sister, Carole Melinda Vaught and husband, Ronnie; and nieces and nephews.
