MICHAEL A. BURETA
(1889 - 1967)
Michael A. Buretta (sic), 78, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past five days.
Funeral services will be 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Buretta was born July 4, 1889 at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Mary Grzark Buretta. He married the former Anna Susan Mrotek in June, 1916 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. His wife preceded him in death Feb. 19, 1956. He was a resident of Manitowoc all of his life and for many years was employed at Manitowoc Cold Storage Co. For a number of years he was also employed as a custodian of St. Mary parish and cemetery, retiring in 1957.
Survivors include two brothers, Joe and Stanley, of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Mary Krysak, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and three brothers also preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. by members of the parish and friends.
