LONG ILLNESS CAUSES DEATH
Mrs. Cichantek Had Been In Failing Health a Year
Failing in health for the last year, Mrs. Paul Cichantek, 65 years old, died at 7:30 a.m. today at her home, 1124 South 23rd street.
Mrs. Cichantek, whose maiden name was Constance (sic) Jagodinsky, was born in Poland Dec. 25, 1866, and came to this country and to Manitowoc 45 years ago. Her marriage to Paul Cichantek was solemnized in 1912. She was a member of the Holy Rosary society of the St. Mary church.
Survivors are the widower, one son by a previous marriage, Walter Wachowitz, Waukesha, two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Golanski, West Allis, and Mrs. Stella Budysz, Manitowoc, one sister, Mrs. Joseph Mrotek, Manitowoc, and nine grandchildren.
After funeral services at the home at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. J.M. Pociecha will solemnize a requiem mass at the St. Mary Catholic church at 9 a.m. burial will be in the St. Mary cemetery. The remains will be taken to the home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral parlors.
