JOHN DEMPSKY
(1863 - 1952)

John Dempsky, 89, died Tuesday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Theodore Tadych, 1120 S. 21st St., Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Leschke Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.

Mr. Dempsky was born in Poland in 1863 and came to Manitowoc in 1880. He was a brick layer and mason by trade. In 1898 he married Mary Bauer. She died 12 years ago.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Edward Rathsack and Mrs. George Lottermoser of Milwaukee and Mrs. Theodore Tadych of Manitowoc; and two sons, Edward of Milwaukee and Max of Racine; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Malciak of Kewaunee and Mrs. John Brusky of Pulaski; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday until time of services on Friday. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
