Mr. Cecil Owens Dill, age 69, 100 Church Street, Englewood, FL., formerly of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 1987. Mr. Dill was born February 4, 1918 in Cedartown.
Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Annie Dill, Englewood, FL., four sons, Cecil O. Dill, Jr., Galveston, Texas, Benny Dill, Piedmont AL, Owens Wallace Dill, Kingsport, TN, and David Dill of Pomona Park, Florida, three daughters Mary Ann Roach, Silver Creek, GA, Cecilia Dill Buehl, Greeneville, TN, and Janice Dill Brown of Greeneville, TN. Two sisters Mrs. Mary Englewood, FL., Mrs. Evelyn Wynne, Rome, GA. Funeral services were held Monday, December 28, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. David Laughner officiating, Interment followed in the Etna Cemetery with full military rites. Members of the American Legion Post #86 severed as pallbearers. Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements.
