ALICE C. DUHNKE
(1910 - 2007)
Alice Duhnke, age 96 of Appleton, formerly of Manitowoc, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna.
Alice was born March 29, 1910 in Kasel, Wis., the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Lipski) Gretz. She was united in marriage to Robert Duhnke in 1963. He preceded her in death. Alice was a former employee of the Schmidtman Company in Manitowoc.
She is survived by her stepson Robert Duhnke and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin, Gretz, and four sisters, Eleanor Becker, Martha Harrington, Pauline Browne and Dolores Prochnow.
A Memorial Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday Jan. 24, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 21st and Marshall Streets, Manitowoc. Friends may call directly at the church at the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
